If you are receiving this lesson agreement, it means you have chosen to take drum lessons, and I could not be more honored to help you on this amazing journey that you are about to begin! To ensure that lessons are the best they can be for the student and me, I have written this lesson agreement:

LESSON MATERIALS:

Please bring your own drumsticks to our lessons. I will have extras, but they most likely will be a different size than the kind that you are used to, which will sound and feel different as a result.

PAYMENT POLICY:

To confirm your lesson, payment is due the Sunday before our next lesson. This can be done through Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, or in cash (if provided at the lesson before your next one).

CANCELLATION POLICY:

I understand that life happens, and sometimes you are unable to attend a lesson. If I am made aware of the cancellation 5 days before our lesson, there will be no cancellation fee. Additionally, if you reschedule your lesson for another time in that same week, there will be no cancellation fee. In cases of non-emergency cancellations, students are given one time they can cancel a lesson at the last minute. After that, lessons that are canceled at the last minute will only be half-refunded.

CONSISTENCY AND CONSISTENT STUDENT DISCOUNTS:

If you decide that lessons are for you, it is highly encouraged that you schedule a lesson once a week. This allows for consistency in learning, as well as efficiency between reviewing past material and learning new material. Additionally, if you sign up for lessons consistently, you get a discount of more than 50% after a certain number of lessons. After 10 consistent hour-long lessons, the 11th is $30. After 20 consistent half-hour lessons, the 21st is $15.
